Understanding The Nature Of Severe Anxiety Disorder


In the aspect of human physiological and psychological conditions, there are various problems and conditions, which are critically detrimental to the well-being and healthy condition of everyone. Often, these conditions are caused by external factors that have serious negative results on the person such as disease, sickness, and malfunctioning of normal physiological activities and conditions in the human body.

However, there are also several circumstances wherein the cause of the problem is from the internal physiological nature of the person, manifested only by its effect on the condition and reaction of the body. The problem of severe anxiety disorder is one of them.

The problem of severe anxiety disorder is generally related to the issue of fear, control and physiological reaction of the human body towards it. Often, a severe anxiety disorder manifests from the body's reaction to a certain stimuli. It will become the primary cause of the severe anxiety problem as well as also the determining factor for their various types.

Types of Severe Anxiety Disorders

Generally, there are various types and characteristics of severe anxiety disorder based namely of its nature, physiological effect and the critical stimulation factor for its cause. Each of the types has their respective characteristic effect manifested on the human body, requiring various forms of treatment solutions and approaches.

One of the common types of severe anxiety disorder is the generalized anxiety disorder, which is the most common type characterized by a long-lasting anxiety form, leading to continuous stress and chronic depression. This type is somewhat similar to phobias wherein a specific factor, likely a fear about something, causes the problem.

Another type is the acute anxiety disorder which is largely characterized by disorder, limited to certain time periods only lasting for a month until a year. This problem is often associated with certain traumatic events becoming the aftermath of the said situation.  Overcoming it requires facing the said fear.

Another common type of severe anxiety disorder is the panic disorder problem, which is largely characterized by sudden panic attacks when the person involved is faced with a particular challenge of stimulation problems. Often, this type is considered life-threatening, as most of the manifestations of this type of severe anxiety disorder include seizure, heart attack, hyper vigilance, and even critical hypertension, which often aggravates other significant conditions of the patient.

Determining the nature and type of the severe anxiety disorder is largely important for the treatment and medication approach of the patient. As such, the most important approach to this problem is diagnostic, observation and determination achieved through anxiety disorder tests, making the person aware of his or her condition while seeking the aid of a professional in the field.

Most importantly, this problem is often negated by the society. However, people must understand that severe anxiety disorder posts a critical threat to their health and well-being, thus must also be given sufficient attention towards treatment.
